Terms of Service

• You need an account to use most of ControlTok. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for what happens under your account.
• Give a real email address you control. One person per account.
• You must be at least 13, and old enough under TikTok's rules to go LIVE where you live.

ControlTok is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by TikTok or ByteDance. It works with your TikTok LIVE and with other services you choose to connect (such as Spotify, YouTube, Apple Music, Discord, OBS and Stream Deck). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms; you are responsible for following TikTok's rules, including its community guidelines, when you stream. Those services can change or limit what ControlTok is able to do with them at any time, and we are not responsible for them.

Do not use ControlTok to:

• break the law or the rules of TikTok or any connected service;
• harass, threaten or deceive people, or to run giveaways or games unfairly;
• upload content you do not have the right to use, or content that is illegal or infringing;
• interfere with, overload, probe or reverse-engineer ControlTok, or access other people's accounts or data;
• resell or redistribute ControlTok without our permission.

You are responsible for what your overlays show and for the giveaways, games and rewards you run for your viewers.

• The Free plan costs nothing and has the limits shown on the pricing page.
• Pro is a subscription billed monthly or yearly at the price shown when you subscribe, and may start with a free trial. It renews automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from the Subscription page in the app or the Stripe customer portal; you keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. If you think you were charged in error, contact us.
• If prices change, the new price applies from your next billing period after we tell you.

You keep ownership of what you upload or create in ControlTok (sounds, images, layouts, settings). You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run ControlTok for you — and, for layouts you choose to publish, to show them to other ControlTok users.

ControlTok and its software, design and content belong to us and are licensed to you for your own use while you have an account. We keep improving ControlTok, so features may change. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk. You can stop using ControlTok and ask us to delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

ControlTok is provided “as is” and “as available”. Live streaming depends on TikTok, your network and other services outside our control, so we do not promise that ControlTok will be uninterrupted, error-free or always able to connect to your LIVE. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

To the extent the law allows, ControlTok is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, gifts, followers or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell account holders before they take effect. Continuing to use ControlTok after that means you accept the updated terms.
